![]() ![]() I personally never liked mobile application development before I started using Flutter. If you have used Java, Swift, or React Native, you’ll notice how Flutter is different. It’s way simpler to create mobile applications with it. In short you can use one programming language and one codebase to create two different apps (for Android and iOS).įlutter is a modern framework, and you can feel it! Using Fultter you can build beautiful, natively compiled applications for mobile, web, desktop, and embedded devices from a single codebase. Among these tools there is Flutter, which has distinguished itself lately.įlutter is a free and open-source mobile UI framework created by Google and released in May 2017. Idk what happened, i literally installed it once (about 2 weeks ago) and i had to fix some minor issues with the flutter-group-pacman-hook but now i have no clue of what is happening and its driving me insane.Mobile applications continued to become more and more popular.įortunately there are many programming tools available to developers who want to create them. Please help, if anyone has installed flutter in an arch or arch related distro, help me. I have installed flutter-dev from the AUR (Arch User Repository) and have tried with normal flutter but no luck. I tried moving it to somewhere else on my path, so i chose ~/.local/bin. Then how tf im i supposed to tun the program if im not supposed to touch/change /opt. Anyways, that is not my main problem, it is the cannot touch '/opt/flutter/bin/cache/.dartignore': Permission denied Im on linux, and i already have the dart sdk installed. ![]() We strongly recommend running the flutter tool without superuser privileges. ![]() Woah! You appear to be trying to run flutter as root. If i run flutter doctor it says that : cannot touch '/opt/flutter/bin/cache/.dartignore': Permission deniedīut if i run it with doas (for superuser priviledges) it says this: ![]()
